It was another terrific
week of summer camp for the scouts and
explorers, this year at Great Towers Scout Camp,
near Lake Windermere - a first for the 185. The
weather was mixed, but it was a great week of
activity, fun and friendship.

This year’s summer camp for
Scouts and Explorers will be at
Great Towers Scout camp from
Saturday 1st to Saturday 8th August.
Great Towers is a Scout activity centre that has some
fantastic activities available, from High rope

Keswick. This will also be an excellent team building
opportunity in preparation for our Kandersteg summer
camp adventure in 2010. Anyone who is attending
Kandersteg and has not attended a week long summer
camp should attend this one, it’s the last chance
before 2010.

information and interest letter
on our downloads page.
